Baby, it's cold outside!

A HUGE 'thank-you' to all of the beautiful and fun ladies who joined Laura of elle images and I for our 1st annual Boudoir @ The Nines this past weekend.  While the temperatures were dropping outside, things were heating up in room #1052.  2 bottles of champagne, 8 amazing clients, 1000+ digital negatives -- too much fun!

Laura and I will most likely be offering a similar package for Valentine's Day 2010.  If you're interested in booking your own private boudoir session party with some of your girlfriends, please contact me.

Cousins!

Meet the Gowing/Buerkle cousins -- a very fun group.  Our session took place at Lewisville Park in Battleground, WA.  Good thing we had umbrellas (and I had a ziplock bag to cover my camera with)!  The rain eventually tapered off and we were able to explore this beautiful area for some good shots.  I highly recommend Lewisville Park -- beautiful scenery, picnic areas, trails, creeks, bridges -- a nice representation of the Pacific Northwest.  My thanks to the Gowing and Buerkle families, and Happy Holidays, too!

Baby O!

Meet Baby Owen, aka "Baby O". Owen was born last month, on the first day of Becky's maternity leave (good timing, Owen!) Becky and Mark couldn't be more thrilled to be parents; and both are natural pros when it comes to parenting. Long story short, I know Becky through my former employer, and she is one of the kindest and most warm-hearted people I know. She is an amazing mother, and it's remarkable to finally meet Owen after 9 months. Congratulations Mark and Becky! And, just for you... Go Hokies!

Outside 'the box'

It's always weird seeing my workout girls outside of the gym and in 'real' clothes (also weird to see them in natural daylight, considering our workouts start at 5am).  This past week I had the pleasure of meeting up with the Graham and Smith Family for some fun holiday family shots. Sessions took place in Beaverton and Cornelius Pass Roadhouse.  Thanks, Dawna and Shawn (& Drew, Dylan, Brent, Skyler and Phil!)  You clean up nice (both in appearance and in WODs).
