'It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas'

Meet Skyler. Volleyballer, Chearleader, and a huge fan of Christmas songs (all year round). Skyler is a freshman in high school and is quite the busy girl. For our photo shoot last September, we tromped around the Pearl District (Tanner Springs and Jamison Square Parks) and then headed over to the St. John's Bridge. Little did we know that the Portland Pirate Festival was taking place, but we managed to get faux pegged-legs out of the shots. Skyler is all around awesome -- and she's a great baby-sitter! My thanks to Skyler, and her mom, Shawn, for such a fun outing :)

The Jaffe Family

Louise Jaffe likes to save -- she is a coupon expert and mom blogger*.  She found out about Julie Flood Photography through her site and I couldn't have been happier to receive such a great client!  Our photo-shoot took place at George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego.  Their twin girls had no problem being on camera, and were very fun to work with.  We got very lucky weather wise, with the rain starting to come down just as we were pulling out of the park after our session.  My thanks again to the Jaffe Family!

Lauren + Abe

Lauren and Abe are expecting their first this December -- a girl!  For our session, we took a nice stroll near the water at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro, Oregon.  The fall colors and light were amazing and made Lauren glow even more.  During our 1+ hours together, I could sense the overwhelming love and appreciation that this couple has for one another -- and it's amazing to think just how much that love multiplies when 2 becomes 3 (and 4, and 5+ for many families).  Congratulations Lauren and Abe!  So very happy for you two :)

The Koons Family

Met up with the Koons family for some family shots at Jenkins Estate last weekend -- a very picturesque family indeed!  Being the youngest and the only girl, I could strongly relate to little Miss Carly.  I am happy she let me sneek in a few photos of her sweet smiling face :) Grant and Jackson are twins, and kept a watchful eye on their little sister throughout our session.  Thank you, Koons Family!  ...and Happy Fall to my readers :)
