Evan was a good sport getting his pictures taken today, and it was good seeing his mom (an old high school friend of mine). Both Evan and Audrey share the love for what is known as the pacifier (or binky or nuk). Cute, cute!

Anthony, an old friend, and fellow amateur photographer, came over yesterday to catch up on old times and do a mini-shoot. Unlike me, Anthony stays in shape doing Jiu-Jitsu and other contact sports. Check out his pics on his Flickr account!

Last month I ran into an old college buddy, Shauna, to find out that she has been living in the Beaverton-Hillsboro area since graduation and has the cutest little boy, Taylor. Shauna is a full-time mama and makes some pretty sweet home-made cards and gifts -- check out her Etsy site, Lemon Drop Studios. In exchange for some customized cards and Dude cards, I took some photos of Mr. Taylor. So cute!!!

Lovely day

Here's just 3 shots out of the 800+ taken at Jeremy and Katy's wedding last weekend. Like all weddings, it was beautiful and I couldn't help but get a little reminiscent during the father-daughter dance. This was the first wedding I had shot, alongside Laura Clark of Elle Images Photo. I'll be shooting Laura's wedding later this year and I appreciate her giving me the opportunity to practice along side her.

On Saturday, I had the privilege to do a shoot for Dan's boss, Jen, and her little girl Isabel. I know it's not your typical photo, but I love the one of Jen consoling her daughter -- as a mother, I can strongly relate.

Busy weekend ahead!

I'm super excited that I will get a lot of practice time in this weekend! It's been a long week as many of you know, and I'm looking forward to use my big ball of energy behind the camera. Tomorrow I will be shooting some modern 'bourdoir' photos for some close friends -- that should be fun -- hopefully I'll be able to post up some of them :) And on Saturday, depending on weather, I'll be taking photos of the Ewell family and their little baby girl, Isabela (she is 1 month younger than Aud). Also on Saturday I will be shooting my first wedding alongside Laura out in Sherwood. Busy weekend indeed! Check back later on to see the results, and your comments/feedback is always appreciated :)

MWAC (Mom with a Camera!)

Interesting article that Dan, my husband, shared with me last summer. At this point, I don't really consider Julie Flood Photography a full-on business, but more of a side project to my full-time job as being a Mom. I love taking photos of my daughter, Audrey, and have been told that I have a good eye and good photo composition. The continued support of my family and closest friends brought about Julie Flood Photography. We'll see what happens next! :)
